Karen Williams
Nurse Practitioner
Karen was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia. She graduated as an associate degree nurse in 1998 from Wytheville Community College. As a Registered Nurse she worked as a staff and travel nurse in Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Nursery for 10 years where her interests in women’s health and hormones got its start. In 2008 she was offered a position in a new Pain Management clinic for the Navy treating Wounded Warriors with complex chronic pain. This venture led to the introduction of needle based procedures, Botox, use of electrical current, and lasers to treat pain and furthered the interest into aesthetics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing during this period from University of Phoenix. In 2021, she graduated from South University with her Master of Sciences in Nursing then became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Always having a passion to work in aesthetics to assist clients in their personal aesthetic goals Karen attended the National Laser Institutes laser, Botox, and dermal filler trainings in 2017. She has continued her training with Empire Medical Training including 24 different aesthetic trainings and additional training on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with Dr. Kent Grotefendt in Chattanooga, TN.
